Astrona labs
astrona labs¶
Browse the lab catalog: trainings and their labs, runnable by name
Synopsis¶
List the trainings astrona knows — the astrona-io repositories with the astrona-training topic, plus sources you add (astrona labs add) — or one training's labs. Every lab has a catalog name you can run, use or test directly:
astrona labs trainings astrona labs ATS014 its labs astrona labs --search routing search lab titles astrona run astrona.io/ATS014/section-010/module-01/lab-02 astrona run astrona.io/ATS014/section-010/module-01/playground
The name may start with the organization — astrona.io/ (as astrona.io shows it) or the GitHub owner astrona-io/ — or leave it out (ATS014/…); another owner is refused. A module's playground is found by its folder.
A lab from the catalog is a remote lab: it's fetched with git and asks for your trust before it runs, like any --git lab. The catalog is cached for an hour (--refresh reads it again).
Examples¶
astrona labs
astrona labs ATS014
astrona labs --search "fault injection"
astrona use astrona.io/ATS014/section-010/module-01/lab-02
Options¶
-h, --help help for labs
-o, --output string Output format: json
--refresh Read the catalog again instead of the cached copy (kept an hour)
--search string Find labs whose title contains these words
Options inherited from parent commands¶
--accept-terms Accept this CLI's usage terms and data-loss risk notice; required on each operational CI command (read: astrona terms)
-c, --config string Path or URL to the lab config directory (with --git: a subdirectory within the cloned repo) (default ".")
-f, --file string Configuration file name override (default "config.yaml")
--git string Git repository URL to clone/pull (https://, git@host:, or ssh://) — --config then selects a subdirectory within it
--git-ref string Git branch, tag, or commit to check out (used with --git; default: the repo's default branch)
--headless Disable the terminal UI and CLI prompts; run/reset skip login reminders and new account sessions
--install-version If the lab needs another astrona release (astronaVersion) that isn't installed, install it without asking — for CI
--trust Approve running a remote (--git / URL) lab without asking — for CI; review the lab first
--update-check Check for new CLI releases (disabled in CI, without a terminal, or by ASTRONA_NO_UPDATE_CHECK) (default true)
--verbose Stream the full output of every underlying command instead of the compact step view
